Someone asked me to do a character design for their student film, and I thought it would be cool to see a design of mine in cg.

study for a real painting

I'm going to do a couple digital studies for a real painting. I want to go for a graphic style. I want to push the colors much further than this, this is just a style study. I'm going to try cell vynil water color, and maybe gouache to see if I can get a cool effect.

Summer time

Open House this Saturday at LAAFA

Come draw this Saturday June 19th from 11am to 4pm at LAAFA. There will be free uninstructed workshops, various demos, food, wine raffles and more. I'll be there drawing if you want to ask me about the class I'm teaching.
